I'm always looking for products that will fit in with my outdoor hobbies and recently I'd been looking at USB rechargeable portable blenders.
I ended up opting for a @popbabiesamz blender as it had a slightly larger bottle than some of the others I'd looked at and I liked the look of the design too.
Okay, first disaster - it arrived and it was pink when I ordered blue, but hey I can rock pink so when they offered to swap it I said it was okay I'd keep this one (at least they had good customer service and offered to swap it with no quibble). So, what did I think to it?
I loved the look and feel of it and whilst I waited for it to charge (takes about 4-5 hours to charge), I read through the instructions and the smoothie recipe card. Some nice recipes in there which I will try at a later stage.
It was now fully charged and I thought I'd make a simple carrot juice mix. It says that the pieces need to be no larger than 2cm for the blades to cope with (bear in mind this is a mini blender not full size). I deliberately left a couple of big pieces to see what would happen.
One of the big pieces jammed the blender stopped straight away and flashed red error lights. Cool, so it wasn't going to blow itself up.
Removing the big pieces, I did it properly and it worked perfectly!! Very impressed and will definitely be using to blend my soups, etc that I make out on the bank. I will need to allow the soups to cool slightly as the plastic bottle doesn't like high heat as it is designed for smoothies, but that's a minor inconvenience.
Yep, I love it. Would definitely recommend.
