Day 15 of quarantine thoughts.
So often as humans we are quick to sink into a pool of negative thoughts when we are alone and we tend to try and keep ourselves distracted by doing activities to avoid being in those thoughts, but during challenging times like these, “distractions” are limited. While some may view this as an affliction, I certainly see it as an opportunity to challenge yourself and grow.
Right now is the perfect time to increase your self awareness, nourish your mind, and learn. Address your recurring negative thoughts, face your insecurities, educate yourself on topics that are unfamiliar to you, read books you’ve never heard of, get innovative with your work outs, attain a new skill, create, share your creations, and stay mentally stimulated. After all, you can’t fight what’s happening externally but you can internally.
