Gather all of your wrapping supplies (wrapping paper, containers, boxes and ribbons) and sort them into sections. Anything that is ripped or damaged either recycle or donate (school art rooms love old wrapping bits and pieces - great for collage projects, etc). Work out if you are going to have a Christmas wrapping theme (i.e. colour theme, natural textures, using boxes or bags, etc) and buy accordingly for any supplies you don't have. If you have an overload of your kids painting/drawing masterpieces then why not use them as wrapping paper. Kids feel extra special seeing a loved one receive a gift, wrapped in their own handiwork!
My top tip is invest in a good sticky tape dispenser that is heavy enough and allows you to tear off a piece of sticky tape with one hand while the other is holding the wrapping down!
When do you wrap your Christmas presents - in one hit or pre-wrap as you buy?
