It’s been a little while but I’m back with this soy-carob delight 😍 There are seemingly endless combinations you can create with chocolate and banana!
- Rolled oats
- Soya milk
- Carob powder
- Vanilla extract
- Almond and coconut butter
- Chia seeds
- Cacao nibs
- Put 1 cup of oats and 1 and a half cups of soya milk into a pan along with a tablespoon of carob powder, half a teaspoon of vanilla extract, a tablespoon of coconut and almond butter (I used the one by @pipandnut) and some chia seeds.
- Once the porridge was nice and thick, it was time to add the honey (I used a big dollop!)
- I then topped it with half a banana and some cocoa nibs.
Outcome: Super thick, super tasty and still pretty healthy! The honey added all the sweetness I needed whilst getting the benefits of the raw cacao, and the coconut and almond butter also added a nice aftertaste.
