Best Malatang in Sydney? You Decide ⬇️
Known as No.1 Malatang or Yang Guo Fu Ma La Tang, it is PACKED. I don’t know when it’s not busy but definitely play it strategic e.g. one friend to scout tables and the other to line up and order.
Not that this already isn’t what everyone else does, but it somehow works out. By this I mean tables are already full but people order anyway in hopes to attaining a seat when the food is ready 🥢
Don’t know how, but it magically works out! People just happen to leave their table, allowing you to get a seat just before the big bowl of soup is ready. Imagining the scenario where someone has a full bowl of malatang soup stranded, have you seen it happen? Sometimes I see people use the neighbouring store as seats 😂
Anyway, the reason why it’s so busy is that it’s perhaps the best malatang in Sydney as the broth is absolutely divine for its price. Expect to get lots of variety of meats, noodles, veggies etc. for a reasonably low price.
In comparison to other malatang restaurants, there’s definitely a more choices so it’s hard to get bored, despite having the same broth (difference being the level of spicy and sauces you choose to put in). This is actually one of the few malatang soups that does not need to be saved by a whole heap of sauces 👌🏻
For a Personalised Enjoyment in Your Malatang, No.1 Malatang is a Solid Choice 👍🏻
