When doctors look at the conditions you’re fighting and say they’ve never seen anyone in as much pain as you, that carries weight. I’ve heard that for awhile, but it finally sank in this week. And when it did, waves of gratitude hit me. I’m still mobile. And while this battle has certainly hurt it, it hasn’t broken my spirit.
I’m a visual person, and often see myself on the tennis court, fighting through adversity for the win. It’s a picture God gives me to encourage me, and it’s been impacting me more than usual lately. He’s got this. I hope this encourages others, too — I don’t know how or when, but He’s got this. God doesn’t need help from the darkness to accomplish what His light already overwhelmingly does. . .what the enemy meant for harm, He is USING for good. His plans for you are not for harm, but for good.
May we all be encouraged today that whether we see Him or not, the fierce love of the Good Shepherd is always at work, and never leaves anyone behind. 👊🏼 (📸 courtesy of Roland Garros)
