Recently I've been playing around with going to some spots I have photographed before and seeing if I can make some new and different compositions from them.
It's been a learning experience to say the least.
I have photographed this view so many times and so many times I've come away with okay photos but this is the first time I have come away with a photo I really love.
In the second photo you can see what I normally would have gotten here, which I don't think is bad but It doesn't make me want to stop and have a proper look.
The depth lended to the photo through simply shooting through something added so much more character to the shot and created something I thought was pretty unique!
It's an interesting experience to approach things we are so used to performing a certain way and mixing it up a bit. For me, there was a bit of doubt with what the end result might be but it turned out to be the best result I've had from this location.
Try new shit, it's worth it 🤗
