Maraβamuβs are a common weather phenomenon in French Polynesia π΅π« during the months of June, July and August and bring in reinforced ESE trade winds and strong swells. Beautiful Cookβs Bay, also known locally as Pao Pao Bay. Itβs a deep, sheltered anchorage surrounded by eye popping jagged green peaks with lots of facilities for cruisers. Weβve been hanging out in Moorea for almost a month now and we keep coming back to this bay and itβs jaw dropping beauty.
