You may find that things have been so up in the air over the past few months that you feel like you're stuck in this rut of bad habits that you need to pull yourself out of. Whether its unhealthy eating, bad boundaries, old ways of thinking, you name it, know that most of us are on the same page with this! You may be feeling weighed down by it all and maybe a bit disappointed that you've found yourself back here because of all the stress, but now is the turning point where we start to work on getting back into balance. You're feeling this sluggish and - well the only other way I can desribe it is gross, because it's being pushed to the forefront now to be addressed. I know what you're thinking... can't I just catch a break and feel good for a couple of days? Well, you will soon! But we've gotta get back on top of those habits like we did before. Let go of any disappointment you have in yourself because honestly everything that's been going on was MEANT to drag you back into that place. Why? Well because sometimes to kick habits we have to pull ourselves out of them more than a few times for us to really understand the cycles and relationships we have with them internally. You may be faced with the idea of changing some habits you've always been relying on for years before going into this new year and it's something you should really have a ponder about and hopefully embrace. Like most habits, it's not about completely eliminating them in one go, but moreso actively understanding how they play a part in your life and how you function/deal with certain things. Also realising when things that are good for us or things we like can turn detrimental with how we use them/over use them. Sometimes you have to sink far back into these habits and things that weigh you down so that you remember how much you like feeling balanced more than being in that spot. Either way, however this is panning out for you, embrace it and really start to analyse how you feel after you do different things. Follow what your soul is craving, and the more you do that the easier it will be to kick the rest of it.
