Thoughts on abundance and owning our power and passions:
I used to be very frightened. I saw around me a world of lack, and so of inherent competition, inherent winners and losers.
I thought, well if I put out there, celebrate, roll around in who I am like a happy dog in the grass, I will be taking away resources others want. I will be creating more lack for them, so they will hate me. They will disconnect more, as I grow brighter. There isn't enough, so I have to choose between having other's love and living my happiest best life.
And that's how it works, if we perceive around us a world of lack. Limitations, limited resources, limited love and support. We have to make an exceedingly painful choice.
But. What if there is no lack of resources inherent to our world? What if you don't lose when I gain, what if there is enough to go around? What if there is enough wealth, enough health, enough support, enough interest, enough clients, enough work, enough good loving passionate mates and relationships, enough people who love and connect with and value what you do, FOR EVERYONE TO BE FILLED?? What if we could develop exactly as we are drawn to, following our passions, and others did not see it as a threat of diminishment of their own worthiness? What if others did not move away when we shone brighter?
What if we could develop alongside them and uplift them not because we're such good martyrs in a world of lack, but because there's enough for us both and we truly share one development, one fire, one journey?
What if we could do what we wanted to do for our living without fearing filling an overpopulated niche, or stepping on toes by being, or having no money, or alienating people we care about?
What if there was a way to be aware of the shadow of fear and lack, and hold it with compassion, and choose to breathe life into the healing reality of abundance? What if we could love ourselves deeply enough to see our wound AND our value and so move into our desires holding both with open hands?
What if every thing we are was made with the ability to be valued, and every need we have was made meet-able?
What if there is enough?
