Garbage in, garbage out 🗑
I firmly believe that you get back what you put into life, including your work, relationships, and your health. You can’t expect your body to thrive on poor sleep or inadequate fuel.
That’s why I make calorie dense, nourishing meals and desserts to fuel my body. When I slack on nutrition, I feel tired, irritable, and just blehhh. But when I eat the foods that make me feel my best, I dance better, think better, and feel better. It’s motivating to know how much more you get when you take the time and effort to give your body what it needs. Too many health goals focus on restriction and taking things away (certain foods, habits, and weight). What can you add to your life? What can you give yourself in order to get more back?
