Missing all the drinks and good eats in Venice 😋 Here are some tips I have for traveling and nutrition!
Stop by a grocery store and pick up some snacks and meals you would normally eat at home! I opt for microwaveable rice, fruit, veggie/fruit platters, protein bars, oatmeal packs, rotisserie chicken, trail mix! Anything that is easy to prepare or that I can grab and go! I try to have at least a meal and 2 snacks from what I bought and the rest of my calories I can put towards eating out! For drinks, I try to stick to lower calorie highballs (vodka, water, cran is my go to) and I allow myself to have higher caloric drinks in moderation too!
It’s all about being mindful! It’s not a free for all, but it’s also not the time to be restrictive either! Find that happy balance and ENJOY yourself! 🙌🏼
