Seoul, South Korea, May 2016
All the Korean dramas I watched recently and @juliexjapan’s posts from S. Korea made me miss it so much so I looked through the archives and found a few photos I wanted to share with you guys 📸
First place I want to visit after it will be safe to travel again: South Korea! And not only Seoul this time, I wish to go to other places as well. Last time I didn’t have the chance to rent a hanbok, the traditional Korean dress that you can see in these photos, but next time I definitely want to do it. I love their colors and design so much so I was a bit of a stalker and took many photos of other people wearing it 😅
It’s interesting how through the content we consume, through movies, music and dramas in this case, we get so attracted to a culture, to a place, that we really want to go there and even live there someday. It was the same with Japan for me actually, I fell in love with Japan through the movies, dramas, animes I was watching when I was younger and this made me want to know more about the culture too. Have you ever experienced something similar?
Now, do you mind if I talk a bit about Korean Dramas? I watched quite a few when I was in high school, it all started with Boys Over Flowers! Then I took a break for a while and now with Netflix, I got back into it and watched Crash Landing on You and Itaewon Class. They are both No. 1 and 2 on Netflix Japan right now! And I loved them both! They have unique and interesting storylines, handsome actors, good music! How not to love them? I recommend them if you haven’t seen them yet.
What is the first place you want to visit when it will be safe to travel again?
P.S: Swipe until the end to see what a badass I used to be back then haha 😎
